WWHD Offers Free Skin Cancer Screening

On Sunday, May 6 from 9:00 – 11:00 am at the Westport Weston Health District, Westport Dermatologist Robin Oshman, MD will offer free skin cancer screenings. Full body screenings will be available. No appointment or residency required and the screening is free.

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer and is increasing in incidence. Each year millions of people get skin cancer and it is estimated that one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in the course of a lifetime

Melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer, is the most common form of cancer for young adults 25-29 years old and the second most common form of cancer for young people 15-25 years old. Adults, children and teenagers (accompanied by an adult) are encouraged to attend.
